FRANKLIN Community Screening Licence Terms and Conditions

Licensor: Rock Island Bend Productions Pty Ltd (ABN: 62 622 443798) (“we”, “us”, “our”)

Licensee: The valid purchaser of this Screening Licence (“you”, “your”) 

1. We invite community groups, charities and individuals to apply to purchase a one-off screening licence to exhibit the FRANKLIN film to members of the public (“Screening Licence”). 
2. The granting of a Screening Licence is subject to our pre-approval of your event in writing by our Impact Producer. If you have not already received approval, please email us at franklinrivermovie@gmail.com with details about your event to seek approval. We reserve the right not to grant Screening Licences at our sole discretion. 
3. Once your event is approved, you may purchase this Screening Licence.
4. After you purchase the Screening Licence, you will be emailed a link by Gumroad to download a HD video file of FRANKLIN in MP4 format (“Video File”). It is your responsibility to test the Video File on your equipment before your event to ensure it is compatible with your equipment and plays back correctly. We cannot issue refunds for technical mishaps at your event.
5. Once you have tested the Video File, your Screening Licence gives you the right to exhibit the Video File once only at your event. You may make your event open to the public or private invite only. You may fundraise and/or sell tickets at a price of your choosing and keep the revenue. If you wish to show the film multiple times you must purchase additional Screening Licences. 
6. Are you interested in a filmmaker Q&A at your event? Email us at franklinrivermovie@gmail.com to request a quote for one of the filmmakers to attend a post-screening Q&A, subject to their reasonable availability. If your event is in Melbourne we will supply producer Chris Kamen, or if your event is in Hobart we will supply Oliver Cassidy. If your event is located outside Melbourne or Hobart either Oliver or Chris can attend via a video call. Subject always to our prior availability, you may invite us to an in-person Q&A if you agree to cover our travel and accomodation costs (which must be carbon offset).
7. Once your event has concluded you must delete the Video File from your equipment. 
8. Any use of the Video File outside the bounds of this licence, including screening it more than once or sharing it with other people is strictly prohibited. We reserve our rights to take action against you if you breach the conditions of this licence.
